In Bali we enjoyed a fantastic seafood BBQ on Jimbaran Beach at Teba Cafe.

We have decided to bring a Balinese style seafood BBQ to Salt Cay.  The BBQ is planned for Saturday nights on Salt Cay's pristine North Beach, weather permitting, starting December 1, 2012.

Flamingo Terrace: Perfect Birding Platform

The Flamingo Terrace at Porter's Island Thyme on Salt Cay is nearing completion!

 It has turned out better than our wildest dreams!  Thanks to all who played a part in making this happen. The artwork and architectural detail arrived in Miami today and is on its way to Salt Cay.

What surprised me is it is the perfect platform for birding on Salt Cay!  We have night herons both juvenile and adults up close and personal drinking from our koi pond.  When the flamingos arrive you will be able to view these too from the Flamingo Terrace.

While our expansion continues lots of people are asking about Lolli.  She performs a key role in the development of the new culinary creations we will be offering next season.

Today she was perfecting her Paella.  Can't wait to sample it tonight!

Salt Cay: Wings & Legs

Join us every Wednesday night at Porter's Island Thyme on Salt Cay for wings and legs (frog legs that is).

Reservations are not required.

The whole island gathers at around 6:30 PM to enjoy Apol's famous chicken wings. The daring have a mixed basket of wings and legs or just legs. A new Salt Cay tradition wings & legs at Porter's on Wednesday night!
