    Expansion: Salt Cay

    First and foremost we want to thank everyone for the best Season we have ever had on Salt Cay!

    People are asking what is going to happen next?  At Porter's Island Thyme we continue to invest in our future and that of Salt Cay.  We are expanding...offering al fresco dining over looking the salinas for an additional twenty diners on Salt Cay in the Turks & Caicos. 
    When finished you will be able to dine overlooking the salinas and the koi pond at Porter's!
    Our demonstration kitchen in the Coconut Room is nearing completion and we anticipate the Grand Opening sometime in early Summer 2012.  Next Season you will be able to learn how to make Jumping Steak or Moon Drops for yourself in our state of the art demonstration kitchen.
    Charlie even has a new "proper" home!
    Haidee and Porter are off for a few weeks in May to investigate the latest in Culinary trends not only in the US but in Latin America...continuing to strive to make Caribbean Fusion Cuisine a world cuisine.

    It is not too early to consider booking your accommodations for the 2013 Season.  Whales were here on Salt Cay this year in record numbers with more "soft" in water encounters than one can remember in years.
