Hoti, the Zen Patron Saint, and protector of bartenders and fortune tellers, arrived at Porter's Island Thyme in the North District of Salt Cay this week. This momentous event coincides with the near completion of the new lounge area at Porter's.We would like to thank all of our Salt Cay local construction crew for their hard work and vision that made this project a reality! Special thanks goes out to Eddie, Kozzie, Topla, Shyne, John, Dwight, Mouthy and the crew of the Lucky Lady.
We need your help in naming the new lounge. Many have already made suggestions: Crow's Nest, Osprey's Lair, Pinnacle, Tea Room (after the famous Manhattan restaurant), Stairway to Heaven, just to name a few.
Send us your recommendation for our new Zen Lounge in keeping with the oriental Six Sense karma and you may win round trip airfare from your home city to Salt Cay in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Submissions should be sent to Haidee at Haidee127@aol.com, selection of the judges is final and will be announced in June 2010 for travel to be completed prior to December 15, 2010.
