    Salt Cay: New Year

    New Years Eve (Olde Year's Night)
    on Salt Cay this year was a cross between:
     "One More Night" and "We are the Children."



    The night started with appetizers, scallops wrapped in bacon, then there was Beef Wellington or Salt Cay Red Snapper en papilotte, followed by homemade ice cream parfaits with fresh raspberries and strawberries. 

    And of course champagne!



    There was singing and dancing.

    And two new Zookeepers made it to the wall at Porter's Island Thyme on Salt Cay.

    New Year's Day brings a Southern Good Luck Dinner.  That features extra thick pork chops, black eyed peas, corn bread and Lolli's pineapple cole slaw.
