Olde Years Night & New Year's Day on Salt Cay

Olde Year's night was a night not soon to be forgotten!

The festivities started with appetizers & cocktails in the main dining room at Porter's Island Thyme on Salt Cay.  There was dinner in the Coconut Room for guests visiting the island, as well as friends and family.  The festivities concluded with desert, Tatittinger champagne and everyone toasting the New Year with congratulations to the newest Zoo Keeper.

As Porter's was closing the party moved to Coral Reef Bar & Grill where our own Salt Cay DJ Kemron spun records until the wee hours of the morning. There was dancing to the latest tunes and debauchery not often experienced on Salt Cay.

And the night danced on at the Coral Reef Bar & Grill
The balance of New Year's Day came slowly as the island woke up and then celebrated again at a southern Good Luck Dinner at Porter's complete with grilled pork chops, black-eyed peas, fruit salad and Lucie's famous cornbread.

Champagne with or without bubbles....the choice was yours!
Every one at Island Thyme on Salt Cay wishes you and yours the best for 2011!
    Let the party roll!
We hope to see you on Salt Cay this season celebrating our island lifestyle!
