He helped celebrate PauPau's first birthday as only a Godfather can. PauPau is Appol's first daughter and needless to say is beautiful and is very special to Porter.
Believe it or not we are busy! Searching for new food trends and items to add to our menu for next year. It always drives our US suppliers "mad" when Porter goes on this quest. Do you think palm sugar will be available in Grand Turk? Not to mention new libations for the bar...so far our Miami and New York liquor contacts have not been able to locate our new brew... Red Horse.
We are working with a graphic artist to develop a new logo for Island Thyme Bistro which reflects what our business has become over the last ten years that we have been in operation. The new T-shirts and hats will be available in October. Plus some other fun items...stay tuned and we will post the information as it becomes available.
We are designing wine labels for what will be our first Island Thyme bottling. We hope you will be there to join us at Island Thyme on Salt Cay for the sampling this fall/winter as the wine matures.
In the midst of all this we are trying to pack for the next phase of the "walk about" and we promise to keep you posted!
