    Summer on Salt Cay!

    Summer has arrived on Salt Cay!  

    The seas are calm, the water refreshing, and there is no need for a wet suit or skins.

    Beach BBQs have started on North Beach...good grilling, potato salad to die for, pulutan to enjoy with ice cold beer and/or rum..  Thanks to Enrique and Vershina for the BBQ chicken and steamed conch!  Lolli not to be outdone brought the pulutan.  While Porter, Cozzie, Junior and Marge brought drinks.

    Our Team is considering making the Sunday Beach BBQ on Sunday afternoons one of the community activities for the upcoming season, as Porter's Island Thyme is closed on Sunday.  Just ask when you "reach" Salt Cay for the activities of the week. 

    The Queen Conch are moving into shallower waters, so now it the perfect time to try Lolli's cracked conch, conch chowder, conch fritters or conch ceviche.  And nothing goes better with conch than Salt Cay Iced Tea!

    Now it is back to work on the new deck at Porter's Island Thyme.  The deck is in the final stages of completion, thanks to Topla and Apol.  Word is Tony won't be returning to Salt Cay for a couple of more weeks, but there will be work for him to do when he gets here.

    This is the perfect time to plan a get-a-way as airfares are lower,  there are deals on lodging, and there are no crowds on Salt Cay!
