"Day Trippin" to Salt Cay?

There are lots of ways to do it....fly in on Caicos Express....come to Salt Cay with one of the Aqua Adventure companies that work operate in Grand Turk & Salt Cay.

Here's some advice:

When you are "Day Trippin" to Whale Watch realize that the humpback whales on not on a schedule...this is not Sea World with scheduled performances...but whales in their natural environment.  What to check out is the quality of the boats and equipment the various operators use, as well as their track record and experience in the local waters surrounding Salt Cay. Ask about anticipated sea conditions and the experience of your Captain as they can influence your overall experience.

We recommend staying on Salt Cay for several days as this increases the chances you will see whales and have a "soft encounter" of a lifetime.

It was a glorious Friday night at Porter's Island Thyme.

Karaoke for the young and young at heart.

Folks from neighboring islands joined in the fun.

There was Pizza, Wiii Bowling and Karaoke enjoyed by all.

It was a full house at this community event!
